About Me

I am married, have two beautiful kids, one,now attending college. That would be my 20 year old daughter, she is attending HUNTER COLLEGE. We are very proud of her, and, her aspirations. My son is 13, very smart, and a good judge of what is music, and what is noise ( he's is starting to get really good on guitar ).He can get behind Johnny Cash, but, his tastes go all the way through to what's hot now. My daughter is the same way.My wife is a Saint, for putting up with me, and attending all my gigs.I ride an Electra-Glide,Shovelhead. I love music, and play it from the heart. I hate going to see bands that are just human versions of a jukebox. We kick out the jams, Mother f**kers!!

Yeah, that's right...Joey "BONES", you have a problem?.. ..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The one person that could leave me speechless. Or, someone who is no longer a physical entity on this rock. Only existing in historical rememberances ( written, audio or visual recordings). And, although he was a big time believer ( I most certainly am not ), I feel this performer should be respected with regard to his beliefs, as they were. If their was such a person as the great JC, John C. Cash never left any doubt, he was it. At least, as far as I care. Man, did I ever under appreciate that talent. Hank Williams Senior as well. I credit many of my written songs, that is the lyrical part of the song, to Hank Sr. And of course his playing style as well, that can never be downplayed. I think of Hank Sr. as THE RAMONES of the early country,and,rock-a-billy era. He did a lot with a few chords. And the genius in the song lyrics..? He was incredible at using down home colloquialisms with eloquence. I just love the way he used his wit and inflection, to produce songs that paint a vivid picture, and could evoke emotion from a mere few words. I don't even know if I am making any sense. The man was great, and his music still is...So many people thought/think of him as a simpleton Hillbilly ( and that is not to say I believe Hillbillies are any less a person than I, or, that Hillbillies are simpletons, at all... ). Bluegrass music pioneers, like, Flatt and Scruggs, Ralph Stanley;etal? The best. My Old Man knew more about music then I ever had the chance to share with him. He is alive, and fairly knowledgable about a myriad of things.. it's just unforunate that he is often hard to speak with because of his hearing loss.I love to share music. It is one of my great happinesses thoughouy my whole life. Having my children sing harmony with me, as I strum my dinky achoustic guitar, is so cool. I couldn't relate it through writing. And they are naturally talented, just a bit performance shy. At least, I hope that, that's the reason they act the way do when I ask them to harmonize with me. :/I want to share my love of music with my children, even if it's the only thing I can ever give them that is worth, anything, they could earn out there in the harsh world. Interesting, I am listening to Johnny Cash's version of "Ghostriders in the sky", right now. :)Anyway, Johnny was probably a cool dude to hang out with..even when he was trashed. I'll never know. But,I do love his music. He's been dead a few years now...but, he's speaking into my ear right now. ;) Ah.." I'm the man in black."See y'all later".....

Just remember, it's the "WHEELS" that run you over.

24 Hours to live

If you were given 24 hours to live...wouldn't you want to die unexpectedly at like 1 or 2 hours? Maybe you doze off for a quick catnap, and die in your sleep. The believers would raise almighty hel...

REALLY SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. Don't just display empty sentiment.

Forget the empty sentiment of the Car magnet bought from the middle eastern guy at the stationary store. He just pockets the money, and the Magnet is probably made in Taiwan,China, Pakistan, etc. &nbs...

Something that brings me happiness.

I notice, particularly in my neighborhood, that the young Hoochie Mamas and thugs, seem to laugh at people above the age of 30. I was never a complete angel, only because I didn't have any wings, just k...

Some interesting e-mails and the plight of the homeless.

Hey, some of these people have done it to themselves through abusing drugs. Some people actually end up homeless due to job loss and other hardships. But, if you gave money to every person who...

Just a little quote I had published that reflects on mankind's ego.

"Imagine the ego of mankind. To deem themselves so grand, as to warrant a creator worthy of praise."               written by Robert Leslie ...
