About Me

New Page 1

T HE MESSAGE IS IN THE MUUUUUUSIC!!!! Yes, the only thing I love more than music is my wife Melissa, who thank heavens deals with my addiction to DJing, playing live and audio gear.

It all goes back to about 1983, with 4 year old me, my Uncle Jeff’s Technics BD100 turntable and his collection of 12” Classic Disco, Funk and Old Skool Hip-Hop that planted a seed that eventually would be a lucrative career in entertainment. By age seven I began to study keyboard/piano that would eventually land me a position with a wedding band Rinea at age 14. When kids my age were working in the mall all week for a couple hundred bucks, I was making this in one night, eating like a king (my other obsession) and learning the art of live performance.

In 1995, I was recruted to work for S-N-T Entertainment a very busy mobile DJ company, where I learned to beat mix, cut and scratch, and MC from some of the best entertainers in Westchester, DJ Joey Jam (King of the Classics), DJ Sal, DJ Mario, DJ Sab and MC Paul Grassi. These were/are REAL DJ’s, pioneered Westchester nightlife spinning at clubs such as Marty & Lenny’s, The Lollipop, Peachtrees, Fudgies and introduced me to the Technics 1200 turntable. I decided to form Dance Factory DJ’s with my long time best friend CJ Lambiasi and together we built our own company, constantly learning how to successfully build and run a profitable mobile DJ company from our mentors.

In 2000, looking to take Dance Factory to the next level, I was offered a chance to merge Dance Factory with Elite Entertainment (formerly S-N-T), incorporate and open a storefront in Mamaroneck, NY. Long story short…..CJ went corporate and Sal, Joey and the gang wanted to concentrate on Love Music (#1 source for all DJ needs). At the same time a close friend of mine DJ Lou Mancini was looking to take his career to the next level. Together we are now Co-Owners of Elite Entertainment Inc.

When not rocking the Tri-State areas catering halls, I can be found rocking the hottest bars and nightclubs both locally and away. From 1997 through 2003, I’ve moved crowds large and small at:

Palladium – New Rochelle, NY Art Bar – Stamford, CT

Violets – Stamford, CT Lot 61 – NY, NY
