Pheasants Kill is a San Francisco rock band based out of Chico and Modesto. Helping to derail the overweight, so-called eclectic SF rock train with an original, hard hitting, popular sound, Pheasants Kill shows up to play and has a good time doing it.
With a Black Label Society influence in their use of piano and guitar as well as powerful riffs and catchy choruses, the band adds an emphasis on a creative rhythm section, based on funk drumming and progressive bass playing.
After the release of a four song EP, Pheasants Kill played the likes of the Red Devil Lounge and Rockit Room in San Francisco, as well as several other venues around the Bay Area and Northern California.
