Inzound

Originally from North Kent, England, been in and out of sequencing music for sometime now, started out with Soundtracker on an Amiga which at the time was only 8 bit sampling, learnt what you could & couldn't do with audio from here plus the arrangement of tracks! Moved onto the PC some years later which allowed for more audio channels and the beginning of MIDI. Here I gained further knowledge of how to manipulate beats and samples (everything becomes 'elastic' is my term) and locked entire songs to tempo's then came Plug-ins, VST Instruments & I 'purchased' Outboard MIDI equipment! Gained a fairly good understanding of MIDI, Synthesis, Effects, Eq's & Dynamics.....Never really wrote many songs after all this was achieved as my musical direction and what I was listening to became more than Synths & samples, so now I have a steep learning curve ahead of me, currenlty studying Jazz Theory and taking Piano Lessons!! All songs heard on here are played in by the mentioned people, NO Samples being used, as for myself I no longer purchase vinyl due to being in contract work, never know when I may have to jump ship!! So less to carry round, beneficial to me as now I have to make my own breaks (although admittedly it was fun smashing the shit out of vinyl samples) which is not easy.......But from what you hear on here it's just Whacky old VST Instruments......But you get the idea. Would happily work with anyone, especially musicians as I'm all out of the loop game!! Peace....
