Alana is a graduate of The Randolph Academy in Toronto for Musical Theatre and has been dancing, training in all forms of dance such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, lyrical, acro, modern, etc, for 21 years competitively and professionally. She has danced for artists both canadian and american such as Bow wow, Katy Perry, Boomtang boys, Neil Young, N Jay, etc, as well as been in numerous music videos and commercials. You might have even seen her cheering for Toronto sports teams dancing for the Toronto Raptors as well as the Toronto Argonauts for several years. Currently, Alana writes and records demos in the studio and is working on an album. Aside from recording, Alana is an actress as well working in the film and theatre industry. She will be appearing in the Canadian premiere of the stage show High School Musical, playing the role of Taylor McKessie. It runs at The Neptune Theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, of April 2009. But she doesn't consider herself just a dancer, singer, or actor. She considers herself a well rounded triple threat performer. She is truely passionate about performing, as in her own words "Music and emotion go hand in hand for me. It's a way for me to connect with the world and show them how I'm feeling whether it may be through words, movement or song. It's very intimate to me and I can't even describe how it makes me feel."
