Homecoming on September 15, 2006 highlighting DHS Alumni-Tailgate party before the game
-Football at 7:30pm Old "Bronco Stadium"
-Alumni Homecoming Dance after the game - North Texas State Fairgrounds 9 pm -1 am. Package Pricing - $50 per person - includes: Tailgate, game & dance costs. (Does not include the Golf Tournament on Saturday.) Proceeds go to funding the years events.
-Golf Tournament Saturday, September 16, 2006 sponsored by the DHS Golf Boosters at Doral Tesoro Hotel and Golf Center.

Homecoming Carnival:
The Denton High School Student Council is sponsoring a “Broncos through the decades†during lunch periods from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15. The costs will vary and the event is open to the DHS alumni. Classes from 1957 to 2006 are invited to sponsor a booth. Beth Hughes, STUCO advisor, is chairing this event.
Tailgate Party:The first major event for “Fifty on Fulton†is the Tailgate Party from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in front of Denton High, 1007 Fulton. The party includes a sandwich (Rudy's BBQ), chips, drink, dessert and entertainment for $8. Tammy Neu is chairing the event.Pre-game and game activities:
Fifty years of graduates - 1957 through 2006 - will be leading on the Denton Broncos prior to kick-off. All graduates are asked to meet at the sidelines by 6:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Bronco Field and form a Spirit Line. All participants must purchase a football ticket for $7. Cathy Nelson is chair. The alumni are encouraged to stay for the game, which will feature crowning of the 2006 Homecoming Court at half-time. The Broncos will be playing Boyd High School from McKinney ISD.Homecoming Alumni Party:
After the game, the alumni are invited to the first Homecoming Alumni Party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the main building at the North Texas State Fair grounds. Cost of the event is FREE and we will also have light refreshments and a DJ. It is BYOB, but you must be 21 and up! Kristin Melson is the chair.Golf Tournament:
All alumni are invited for the “Fifty on Fulton†annual Golf Tournament, hosted by the Denton Golf Booster Club. It is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Doral Tesoro Hotel and golf center. Shotgun golfing starts at 1 p.m. Cost is $100 and includes lunch, four-man scramble and 18 holes of golf. The history of Denton High, especially the 50 years on Fulton, will be written and photographed by Sharon Cox and Nita Thurman, co-chairs, for the 2007 Denton High Alumni Directory. (more to come)
