AxeMan is a 16 year old Mc from East London. He is involved in a developing scene of music called Grime. He has been making this type of music from the beginning of 2007 when he decided to take music a bit more seriously. During 2007 Axeman began to find himself in the scene and began to network with other MC’s and Producers.
Towards the end of 2007 Axeman caught the eye of Eskibeats ‘Bless Beats’ who helped him develop his musical skill and status. Shortly after that Axeman recorded a song entitled Do it Like Us which will ft on ‘Another Hard Days Graft’, Bless Beats second mixtape. Everything looked good for Axeman, and it was about to get better as he later on caught the eye of 1 of his influences to start his music career, Wiley. Wiley got in contact with Axeman and they began to work together. They worked on various songs, 1 of which entitled ‘Ain’t Ready’ which was a small success and was played on Kiss fm, 1xtra and reached no.2 in the grime charts on Déjà vu fm. Axeman has also been on 1xtra’s Dj cameo show (find the live set in blog).
Axeman continues to develop his musical talent and is working with various other artists’.
Currently Axeman is working on a mixtape called ‘Under Age’ Vol1. This mixtape will have a lot of the big names of grime and will let people know why he is 15 and everyone is paying him so much attention. His mixtape should be out before May so look out for it.
