It all started back in 1999 just before the millenium bug fiasco was supposed to hit . I was fortunate enough to hit the Sydney clubs and were else but the biggest , Home at Darling Harbour . I was blown away by the whole dj'ing thing and after searching the net and scrapping all my money together I purchased a set of SL1210MK2's and small 2 channel mixer . Locking myself in my bedroom I mashed and smashed beats that sounded terible until one day i could hear the two beats coming into sync and I had taught myself the foundations to the art of dj'ing .But the learning never stops digital dj'ing , cd's , samplers , Live 5 , Reason , Rane Serato Scratch Live , mp3's have all played there part in creating and changing the way we dj and the sounds we play.Beware of the future and embrace it because dj'ing will only get better.
