I'd like to meet:
I would like to drink with the late John Bonham.
Music:
I listen to just about everything out there so long as I can find something I like about it or something to connect with. No matter what kind of music it is, I will always give it a chance. Unless its yours, cause then it sucks. Haha. But if you would like a taste of what feeds my soul..... Led Zeppelin, Tool, Pink Floyd, the Who, NIN, Primus, APC, Deftones, Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, Aphex Twin, Dillinger Escape Plan, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, DMB, Alice in Chains, 311, Bertha Coolidge, Genesis, Radiohead, RATM, The Police, SOAD ...o' the list goes on.....
Television:
Television is by far one of the most abused drugs in America... even more so than (dare i say it??) alcohol. Lets compare. Drugs are used to alter one's state of mind, body, and conciousness right?? Addiction to drugs leads to compulsive use of the drug with physical and mental tendancies despite physical, sociolgical, or physiological harm. And so does TV if you think about it. Just watch someone sit on a couch for a few hours a day watching TV. Nothings really going on inside their head. Get off your couch and think about it for a second so that i don't have to go into a huge explanation for you. So, war on drugs..... war on TV.... no, cause thats just a way to control people, keep em' dumb and distracted from all the horror going on in REALITY. Yet, I am still under the control of its glowing, warming, warming glow."Supreme Court says pornography is anything without artistic merit that causes sexual thoughts. No artistic merit, causes sexual thoughts. Hmmm . . . sounds like every commercial on TV doesn't it?" --Bill Hicks
Books:
I enjoy reading, yet i do not devote enough time to acctually finish a book in a reasonable amount of time. I am a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan, and Hunter S. Thompson, everyone should read all their books if it were up to me. Also Albert Camus, Aldous Huxley, Kurt Vonnegut, Fyodor Dostoevsky... and many more."Great is truth, but still greater, from a practical point of view, is silence about truth. By simply not mentioning certain subjects... totalitarian propagandists have influenced opinion much more effectively than they could have by the most eloquent denunciations." --Aldous Huxley"And it seems to me perfectly in the cards that there will be within the next generation or so a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing … a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda, brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods." --Aldous Huxley"One of the many reasons for the bewildering and tragic character of human existence is the fact that social organization is at once necessary and fatal. Men are forever creating such organizations for their own convenience and forever finding themselves the victims of their home-made monsters." --Aldous Huxley"Buy the ticket, take the ride" -- H.S. Thompson
