Whispering Lights formed in the spring of 2003 when the K.O.T.S. members (a band with a good reputation in the local Nu Metal scene) meet Matt, a singer coming from different musical experiences. The current line up is Matt (vocals), K.C. (guitars), Fabio (bass guitar), Hugh (Drums). In autumn the band recorded its first demo tape Twofold Nature; the outcome is a mixture of european and american rock. After two years characterized by several concerts and an intense song-writing the band recorded Queen of Deception, an album composed by 11 tracks. The background comes from the american new rock, where the 7 strings guitar imposes its strong presence backed by the aggressiveness of the vocals melodic line, but at the same time rather melodic. Despite the immediacy of most of the songs, the band didnt ignore a certain elegance in the musical arrangements: acoustic guitars to complete rather heavy songs, the use of exotic instruments (like buzouki), some rap vocals interventions.
