I'm an eight year old pied cockatiel! I live in San Mateo with my common-law mate, Bonita, and two humans, Mommy and the other guy. When I was hatched the breeder, a real nice man named Jon Collins (he's in heaven now), thought I was a female. So when I decided to move in with Mommy and the other guy, they thought I was a girl. Luckly Mommy named me Bosco and it didn't take long for the other guy to figure out I was a male because he noticed that I would strutt. At the time there was another cockatiel named Baby. She was older and at first we didn't get along. But sadly, about a year after I moved in, she got sick and had to be put to sleep. Then a year after that, Mommy got a rescued bird named Bonita. She was also sick, but after a lot of doctor visits she got better. Well, one thing led to another (after all there is a reason humans use the term "the birds and the bees") and now we're mates. Okay, I'll admit that she was older and also had to teach me a few things but I figured it out after a few tries. Recently, two turtles (red ear sliders) moved in. Their names are Benji and Bono (the other guy says Bono as in U2's Bono while Mommy says Bono like Sonny Bono). What Type of Parrot Are You?
