About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorI recently graduated from Manhattan Christian College with a B.S. in Bible and Youth Ministry. So eventually I am planning on going into full-time youth ministry. I love being able to impact and influence youth. I am not always the most outspoken person, but I am willing to step up and lead where needed and where God calls me too. I love the outdoors and I am totally obsessed with fishing. I love to do a lot of active things like running, hiking, and biking when I get a chance. I am fun loving and those who know me, know I can be a bit crazy and goofy at times, but I can also show a lot of maturity and responsibility. I take my faith very seriously, and I am continuing to strive to grow in my faith.I'm originally from North Iowa, but I went to college down in the middle of Kansas..go figure, Mid-Western through and through. I'm the third of four boys in my family. Have a nack for staying out of trouble, but I still having fun. Have a very solid family life. We lived out in the country... I kid it's the middle of nowhere.

My Interests

First of all I am completely and totally OBSESSED with fishing. I love the outdoors. I like camping and hiking. I also like to run. I was a long distance runner in high school. So I still run quit a bit to stay in shape and for fun. I also like to paly basketball, baseball, and most other sports.

I'd like to meet:

I guess I'm on here cause a friend wanted me to join. It would be nice just to meet some friends with similar interests. I stay busy so I don't get out and socialize that much so if I meet a few people on here that would be cool.

Music:

My favorite band of all time is DC talk. My favorite song is "In the Light" by DC Talk. I also like Audio Adrenaline, Switchfoot, POD, Newsboys, and Mercy Me. I also like Rock like Three Doors Down, Creed, and others as well as some pop.

Movies:

My favorite movie of all time is "It's a Wonderful Life" believe it or not it always makes me cry. I usually like a good comedy as long as the humor stays fairly clean, and an action movie as long as there is a plot.

Television:

Favorite show is "Survivor" I watch it when I get the chance. I'm going to be on there one day. "The Amazing Race" is good to. Smallville has become an obsesion since a friend got me hooked on it down here. I don't really find the time to watch TV on a regular basis though so most shows I don't keep up on. But there's nothin like catching an Old episode of "Boy Meets World"

Books:

Honestly, I don't read near as much as I should even for my classes. Ussually, try to read my Bible at least some daily. Other then that the only books I've really got into were C.S. Lewis novels.

Heroes:

The ultimate hero has to be Jesus Christ. If you've studied anything at all about crucifiction, you'd know how much of a sacrifice he made for our sins our short comings, if you truly understood what kind of love he had for you, how could you not follow Him?
