About Me

The older I get... the younger I was.Half a century old, with a lifetime of adventures, misadventures, brilliant insights and bone-headed mistakes. That's what they call "experience" isn't it?I've always thought of myself as a storyteller - Someone who likes to entertain, enchant and inform with stories. Might be on the page, on the stage or on the screen... it doesn't really matter. The drive has always been to connect, to relate - to make people see the universal truths that surround us and connect us all. It's the 'commune' part of communications that I enjoy the most.As to interests? Filmmaking of course, but again... that's just another form of storytelling. I enjoy writing (short stories, screenplays and even one novel so far) and I read voraciously - Fiction - Nonfiction - whatever is left by the toilet. I let my interests and the quality of the writing guide me.In terms of excercise, I've been fortunate enough to have spent an enormous ammount of time on horseback. Excellent teachers... our equine friends. Though I don't currently own any horses, they will forever be a part of my life.If I had to sum up my basic philosophy, it's 'do more good than harm'. If I can finish out my life with that accomplishment, I will have considered it a success.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who rides in my truck, has heard me sing this song. Rest in Peace Paul Newman - a class act.
