Ricky "Star" Alaniz Jr. is a 21 year old born Sept. 15th 1986, He's a Producer, Musician, Singer Songwriter based on the Island of Hawai'i. Music has been apart of his life from day one. At an early age an Ukulele was placed in his hand as he watched his Grandpa and Uncle play from then on he was determined to learn. While growing up his Grandma and Mom encouraged him and provided him with his musical instruments. With the help of his cousin Ekona Ravey his skills grew and so did the love for music. Star started playing in public at the age of 12 and now performs with alot of known Hawaii and Inter-national Artists. Listening and Playing with different artists and genres, the music he creates comes from within and they are part of his being. His music tells a story and he can share that part to help others grow and like the wind and the rain he has inspired growth.
