Brendhan is an accomplished musician, singer and composer skilled at several different instruments and actively performing French Horn, clarinet and piano. Brendhan is passionate about music ministry, and he plays an active role in his church (Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Waukegan, IL) as teacher, director, soloist and member of the praise team. Past professional gigs include memeber of the Grammy-nominated choir Ricky Dillard & New G - whose music is featured on this site, and has recorded vocals for television commercials. He currently sings with Creation Ministries (Chicago) under the direction of Paul Turner as a tenor and over-dub vocalist. Brendhan has performed at several venues nationwide including The Atlanta Civic Center, The New Orleans Jazz Fest, The House of Blues in Chicago, Symphony Hall in Chicago and Radio City Music Hall. His vocal discography includes Have Thine Own Way with the University of Illinois Black Chorus under the direction of Dr. Ollie Watts-Davis, Praise Report with Glenn Johnson & The Voices of Inner Peace, and Unplugged: The Way Church Used To Be with Ricky Dillard & New G. This particular album was nominated for a 2005 Grammy. His instrumental discography includes Beethovens 9th Symphony live at Symphony Center in Chicago, which includes a performance of Brahms' Academic Festival Overture and Dvorak's Slavonic Dance # 8. Brendhan has also appeared on Bobby Jones on BET, at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL, Genesee Theater in Waukegan, IL, The Chicago Gospel Fest, and New Jersey's Gospel Fest. He has shared the stage with such gospel greats as Hezekiah Walker, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurken, Kirk Franklin, Albertina Walker, Smokie Norful, LaShun Pace-Holmes, etc. His professional affiliations include membership with Phi Mu Alpha, the largest music fraternity in the world with more than 150,000 initiates, and chapters on over 200 college and university campuses across the nation. Frat members of note include Maynard Ferguson, Andy Griffith, Branford Marsalis, Duke Ellington and Doc Severinson.Brendhan has just finished scoring his first piece entitled Resolve for full symphonic band... he hopes to have it published by the end of 2008.He is an active private instructor cultivating today's young musicians into tomorrow's talented and versatile professionals...
