Nothing Right Now
Been through it, and going through it. Very few out here are really genuine, but you can even ask my enemies. But it's more than that you know?
I never look at this lifestyle as a fashion or a mindstate...few understand the streets, really. It's more than "the streets"..it isnt a moral choice, man...it's doing what needs to be done. If I was to see a person walking down the street and I was to rush and tackle them to the ground, it would be crazy and shunned probably - abrasive and antisocial...however, if we were playing in a football game and I did that to the ball carrier, then it would be understood.
Most of yall is sour-grapes cats anyway, you know like the fox who couldn't reach them...it's like I have nuff shit to get off my chest, it's my journal so-to-speak...but let's be real, Hip Hop isnt cosmetic...and to me for these cats thats in, it's like semi-pro...you know when cats wanna still live the dream of playing football so they play semi-pro? It's either they wanna live the NFL sorta "vicariously" or they really do love the game and will play no matter what...
I just do so much other shit that gets me by economically, that I'm not depending on "music thang", it's just something I do for fun, or as a release..I don't try and tell you what you should be doing or criticizing your mind-states, I just do me...tell you the story of the life through someone who really fought the wars, took the risks, and even at times just had a front row seat...
my perspective is deep.
I try to quit this rapping all the time, but nothing tells the story of the streets like Rap...
