2006,the hiphop industry is all about making money. You can listen to music of "Dem Frenchize Boyz", "Yung Joc" and other artists who sounds all the same. Here´s Lance Howard aka FADAZE, who has experience in HipHop since a kid, and has released already 3 underground albums. Fadaze is still full of skills, energy and ideas to show the world what he got and most of all to bring hiphop back to its roots! But how does the story begin? In year 1978, March 23, a boy was born in Englewood New Jersey, name Lance Howard. After that he and his family lived in Teaneck New Jersey, where Fadaze´s childhood was influenced by hiphop. The Best was living next door to hiphop pioneer Master Gee and down the block from Sugar Hill founder Sylvia Robinson. Fadaze started to fall in love with hiphop at the youngest age of 6 years old. Other children in his age are playing basketball or with toy cars, but not him! Fadaze was already breakdancing, and joined in competitions in the first grade. His teenage life was similar to other teenagers, with one difference: Fadaze was focused into hiphop. He started to rhyme in the 6th grade and messing around with beats. Actually people were able to see what Fadaze got, when he joined in competitions and talent shows...But then at the age of 13, Fadaze´s parents got divorced, so he went to South Jersey to live with his grandparents and have a new life. Besides school and the daily stuff hiphop was never forgotten and he was still into it and working with beats. In South Jersey,he met Wally and Chase, who became his friends and co-workers in music. Those 3 young boys had 5 songs written and produced by themselves and they performed on talent shows with success.2 years after Fadaze turned his back to South Jersey and moved back to North Jersey with his dad. He left music for a while and was focused on playing ball. He spent his energy and skills in basketball to get a scholarship for a college.Although music was never missing in Fadaze´s life. After working hard in the studio, finally in 1997,his first song came out, with the title "Live. eviL" feat. Chris Moore aka MO, his cousin, friend and musicpartner.1998 Fadaze moved back to South Jersey and took his role as a musicmaker and producer very serious. He was experimenting with beats and tracks and developed his own style and ideas. One of the projects Fadaze worked on was dubbed hood banga for the south jersey area "We R Too Strong".2004 Fadaze was unfortunately involved in a misunderstanding and trouble and he got locked up for 6 months. During this hard time, Fadaze never forgot about HipHop. He was very thoughtful, and collected all his ideas, beats and rhymes in his mind. When he finally got out, he was 1000% focused on music, and transfered his ideas into reality.Fadaze was so full with energy, like a bomb which is about to explode. That´s why he worked diligently day and night, 24/7 on his music. He wasn´t just focused on beats enymore, he started to rap and worked with a lot of underground producers all over the country: M.O., Prime, Ras J, Yung Rich, Tone Spliff, Wyze Intellect, Akil Sharp, Bigg T, Sarkism, JR Heetrokk & Fah Q! Fadaze woke up everyday with a new idea for a new song. And just in one year he released 3 underground albums: 1. "It´s only me", 2. "Born B Boy" and 3. "Yo No Sey".Now, present, 2006 Fadaze is at his point of his life where his main topic is hiphop. Fadaze's style has developed in those years into a unique, fresh and with sense of style. He calls it " Reel hiphop da only way, i do..." Fadaze doens`t want to archieve the aim to make that big money. His main goal is, to bring back the essence of true HipHop. Not just rap music. He wants to bring the breakdancing,graffiti, djing, emceeing, the culture, fashion and the real rhymes back.Fadaze is a young man, with lots of ideas and inspiration. He had ups and downs in his life, and during those years from birth untill now, HipHop was always at his side. He never left HipHop and HipHop never left him. HipHop is for Fadaze not just a genre of music, for him it means culture with its music, fashion, dance, just everything, its the way of true life! Trough Fadaze HipHop is going to be reborn.
