I also have recently ventured into the voice-over field.ENTERTAINMENT BACKGROUNDI have performed professionally for more than four decades as a keyboardist, singer and mobile disc jockey in 49 of the 50 states and countries as varied as Canada, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Taiwan.After honing my craft as a teenager in Detroit, Michigan, I joined the U. S. Air Force where I was a member of the Air Force’s “Tops in Blue†(TIB) entertainment organization for three tours. TIB was the launching pad for many major entertainers including Flip Wilson, Johnny Cash, Jerry Van Dyke, Sinbad and Terry Weeks, of the Temptations.Since my military years, I have performed on the same bill with artists that include: The O'Jays, Isaac Hayes, Tyra Banks, Rare Earth, Chris Tucker, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Gerald Levert, Charlie Daniels, Anita Baker, Dionne Warwick, The Manhattans and The Dramatics. I have accompanied many performers including Etta James and Bluesmen Lucky Peterson & Joey Gilmore. I have also sung on stage with Shelia E. and Patti LaBelle.In addition to working with national acts, I have also had the pleasure of performing with some of the finest performers anywhere in the world, in my own backyard; the metro Detroit area. They include: Kem, The Sun Messengers, Second Wind, Valhalla, Persuasion,Ralph Armstrong, Marcus Belgrave, members of the “Funk Brothers†(Earl Van Dyke, Pistol Allen, Johnny Griffith, Thomas "Beans" Bowles), Spyder Tuner, Skip Pruitt, members of “GEQ†(Bang Glenn, Kerry Lacy, Phil Leskey), Little Sonny, members of “Straight Ahead" (Marion Hayden, Eileen Orr), and the Diva of the Detroit Jazz scene, Ms Shelia Landis. In fact, I had the honor and pleasure of performing with Shelia twice at the Ford Detroit International Jazz Festival (2001, 2004.)I recently have recorded and performed with Detroit's, soon-to-takeoff, hip-hop phenoms, "Lazy Genius."I broadened my entertainment endeavors by entering the Disc Jockey profession in the early ‘90s and have now performed for thousands of happy customers. My first-hand knowledge of music as a fan and performer has proven invaluable. Additionally, the fact I sing live at disc jockey functions has been a well received element of my performance. I’m also quick to go into the audience and teach the latest group dance moves.After performing at JD’s Key Club, in Pontiac, Michigan, on and off since 1997, I accepted a full- time position there in 2004 and found a great home for my playing, singing and comedic skills, performing as a dueling piano player. In that capacity, I performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland, OH, in September 2005.AND NOW ANOTHER GREAT OPPORTUNITY HAS DEVELOPED FOR ME. I HAVE RELOCATED TO FLORIDA AND I HAVE ACCEPTED A POSITION WITH NBC UNIVERSAL STUDIOS' CITY WALK, ORLANDO, FLORIDA PERFORMING AT PAT O'BRIEN'S. ADDITIONALLY, I WAS NAMED EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH AFTER COMPLETING TWO MONTHS AT UNIVERSAL. SINCE ARRIVING IN FLORIDA, I HAVE ADDED 88'S DUELING PIANO BAR AT THE HARD ROCK CASINO, IN HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA, CRAZY 88'S IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, HOWL AT THE MOON-TAMPA, MARTINI'S BAR, CAPE CORAL, PECKERS, LAKE OF THE OZARKS, MISSOURI, RUM RUNNERS, LANSING MI & RALEIGH, N.C., AND PENGUINS, LEXINGTON, KY AND COLUMBIA, MO TO THE LIST OF PLACES I HAVE PERFORMED.
