Visionarium began in February 2006 by Tubbs (Guitar) and Columbia (Drums) with Lee (Keys) and Robert (Bass) following soon after. As the band progressed, their music started becoming more experimental. Over a period of 3 years (2006-2009), they wrote a 100 minute concept album about the asceticism of a king. It was going to be a mix of progressive extreme metal, neo-folk, ambient and a subtle post-metal influence. A rough demo version of this album was completed in early 2009. However, due to musical differences, Visionarium has since disbanded and the final version was never finished.
Some of the material might be used in a different context under Tubbs' side project (now a full band), Cognitive Response. Columbia and Robert have since created their own project.
