I am a definite Northern girl living in the South. I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI. Went to college in Detroit, MI. Now I live in the South. I'm a Civil Engineer, I design subdivisions. I'm in a sorority. which I'm way to involved in. My weekends are very important to me. I love to party, I absolutly love to dance. My club is eleven50. I love techno, trance, and house. The one fantastic thing about living down here, with knowing that Detroit is the home of electronic music, Atlanta has a constant stream of outstanding DJ's.

Radio One - England knows where its at....they have all of the new house tracks, and you have to love Pete Tong, Judge Jules, and especially Fergie!!! The Essential Mix is 2-3 hours sets of the best known DJ's.

Michigan Football!!

Dancing, Dining, Drinking. PartyLite. My sorority (Gamma Phi Beta), which is sometimes more of a task, than an interest. Music as well, to go along with the dancing. Working out, to keep up with the dancing as well. My Niece, Alison!!! My amazing, wonderful, sexy, sweet, and handsome boyfriend, Jerry.

I'd like to meet:

People that have the same interests as me. :) People that love EDM, mainly house, because those people are hard to find in Atlanta. People that love to dance If you have good moves, you score lots of points with me, that is also hard to find in Atlanta.
If you're not into all that, you need to at least have a sense of humor. I love different, interesting, and entertaining people.

It's House music baby, I'm here to tell you, its the 21st century and house music, is still KICKIN!!; my first love is Richard Humpty Vission, Derrick Carter, they just have a special place in my heart, Armand VanHelden, DJ Irene, DJ Dan, DJ Colette, Bad Boy Bill, Luke Fair, Deep Dish, some crazy track from Audio Bullys 'Shot You Down' LOVE IT!, Basement Jaxx, BT . Trance, my all time favorite is now Gabriel and Dresden, they are so awesome!!!! Tiesto, Geroge Acosta, Sasha, and Digweed, Ferry Corsten, Sander Kleinenberg, PVD, Oakenfold, Armin Van Buuren, Motorcycle, Andian, Way Out West. Top 40. The Beatles. My New favorite is Shoegaze.

Movies:

Fight club. The first rule of fight club, is the rule of my life. The Ocean's movies. Girly movies. Thomas Crown Affair. Harry Potter.

Television:

American Idol. Extreme Home Makeover. Desparate Housewives. Queer as Folk. Deal or No Deal!! MOST IMPORTANT!!! Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Books:

Girly books; Nora Roberts, Sue Graffton. John Grishom. HARRY POTTER!! The DaVinci Code. Lots and lots of Stormwater and Erosion control Manuals (work can be very boring).

The DCG Chili Cook-off

So in the 2nd annual DCG Chili cook-off. I placed 6th. Kinda disappointing, but still good. There were only 11 entries. Better than last. :)
