Sherry Tate

Sherry Tate, an educator, motivational speaker and singer who enjoys sharing a prophetic word from the Lord with others. Born and raised in Jackson, MS., Sherry obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications & Master of Arts in Education at Jackson State University. Thereafter, she joined the body of Christ and begin a new chapter in her spiritual journey. Sherry has spent time serving others and working within the church as a member of the Pastor's aide, Bible Club, Bullentin Committee, National Baptist Training Union and a Sunday School teacher. Throughout the 90's, she appeared in various communities and schools around the Jackson area influencing the greater development of youth. She has been highly influenced by faith walkers like her mother Sis. Rosie Lee Tate, Sis. Rosie Robertson, Sis. Bertha Ellis and Sis. Mary Bolton. Her reputation can be seen as a direct link between the Word of God and the Song of Zion used to encourage others. Sherry has donated various proceeds to Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Gateway Mission and the Salavation Army. She has won various awards including the BellSouth Mobility Music Lead Female Vocalist of a Local Church Choir.In 2003,she gave birth to the hit single"Lord I Thank You" with the Anderson Sancturary Choir.
