Hi,
I'm the new album by Gary Lucas & Gods And Monsters, my name is "Coming Clean". The Sunday Times just said something nice about me: "...when the New York Dolls' David Johansen channels Beefheart into One Man's Meat, Coming Clean cathces fire." That's me! I catch fire!
Yep, it might seem slightly unlikely but I am a fully living entity, not in the conventional sense perhaps, but then a Sponge is hardly like you and me yet we continue to believe in them.
I have twelve proud arms (and 3 bonus legs), a round body with a hole in the middle and I make the sweetest and most obtangular noise you've heard all day.
Hmm, some people I suppose might wonder how I can be a living being when I am also merely the ephemeral fluff that is music, well I guess the only real proof I have is that I am talking to you right now and if I don't exist you must be imagining this conversation. I suggest you pinch yourself, and if you're still here feel free to listen to some of my tasty tunes.
