Raised in the south west philly.Black Lee attended Bartarm High School.Bartarm is where he met soon to be rap partner Dice.Not hearing from each other in a few years Lee learned during there time apart they both shared a pastion for music.Black Lee and Dice both shared there music with each other and came up with the decision to start a rap group Surround Sound.On May 2nd 2008 they dropped there group mixtape "Welcome To Da Hood" which featured Young Lite.The Mixtape hit the streets producing over 4000 pays on Datpiff and creating a spark in the streets pf philly.Black Lee is also known for doing rap dvds and music cameos with Straight Entertainment.
