Oh yeah!!
INTRO SPECTRE is the debut album by the South African metal act CHROMIUM.
As a first release by this four piece band it is nothing short of a metal masterpiece. One of the best metal acts to be born out of the dark southern depths of Africa there is no shortage of great songs on this album. From the catchy and melodic 'SET ME FREE' to the angst and speed of 'EX AMINO', the listener will be taken on a dark and aggressive journey. The artwork is 1st class and is an excellent introduction for a new born band.

CHROMIUM PERFORM WITH SIT STRINGS
OK this is the about me section so i guess i better say one or two things about me, even tho im not too good at this kind of thing. Anyways...I have just finished my first year in Sound Engineering (2006) heading to my second year hopefully now..
I recently moved up to Benoni from Port Elizabeth in about October 2006 and I've been so welcomed since I've moved up here. I have met such good buddies, you all know who you are and I thank you so much for making me feel at home up here..I love it here so much thanks to you guys..
I've been into my music since i was about 10...my buddy Jared and I used to fiddle around on those little mini casio's and make up songs. By the time we were in Standard 6 or so we both baught ourselves accoustic guitars and shortly afterwards baught electric guitars. We started a band playing mellow shiz and slowly moved up to the heavier shiz, In about standard 8 or 9 I decided to give drums a try and Jared and I formed a band called "Forge" things didnt really work out with that and the band split up...Later on Jared and I joined a band called "Corporate War" which also kinda didnt end up working out...to where we found ourselves creating " Chromium " with Matt a fellow friend that we recently met (Matt and Jared had been getting together and writing riffs which was the start of the band)...this was in about September or October in 2005...I switched to Bass guitar in July/August 2006 and we found "Hannes" who is currently our drummer..and through much trial and error we are slowly getting our feet up in the Gauteng area...We have a CD that has been released and can be baught off www.rebelrock.co.za or in local cd shops....Hopefully we can just take it one step at a time and one day let this be our career...as i can't picture doing anything else...i love this too much :D anyways thats enuff about me!!!
