The Housejunkies are a dj/production duo consisting of Lee Anthony & Michael Fox.
After a chance meeting at a local club, the pair quickly put their production skills together and started writing house music.
Using vocalists and MC’s, they mix great house base lines and percussion with soulful vocals and string arrangements establishing their own style.
During 2007 the Housejunkies started their own digital label which quickly got signed to a major digital distribution company. This gave them coverage across the globe on 17 of the worlds largest download sites, and more recently this has expanded to 46 download sites including iTunes and Napster.
With 3 releases so far during 2007 and the 1st in 2008 due during February, the Housejunkies have seen success with tracks such as
‘heart & soul’ & ‘exotic fruit’ both co written with the house diva herself Miss Angie Brown, formally of Bizarre Inc fame.
The 3rd release ‘sleepless’ features the amazing vocal talents of Reckless MC, who has been likened to Maxi Jazz of ‘faithless’.
After having tracks played on Radio One by Judge Jules, drive time FM radio shows in Belfast and numerous internet radio shows, the Housejunkies were approached to remix a track by up and coming RnB artist Tia Jean; who recently penned a track for Beyonce. The track went on to be signed by her management company and Sony publishing.
On top of the production the Housejunkies have been successful in djing across the UK in Fire in London, Subway City Birmingham, North in Manchester, Space in Leeds, Castro’s in Bristol and Mynt in Belfast, and more recently internationally in Koh Pan Yang / Phuket Thailand and Gold Coast Australia.
After taking time off to concentrate on establishing their own label, the Housejunkies are now looking to get back behind the decks and start entertaining the crowd in their own style.

Working with live vocalists, MC’s and Percussionist’s (all additional to our fee) the Housejunkies work the crowd mixing big tunes and live vocals to give a individual visual performance.
