So I've been on myspace for quite some time, but I've never actually done anything with it. I do have a separate blog that I like to post things on, but I figured that I might as well put this space to use, too! Now I'll have 2 places where my friends can tell me I'm taking too long to blog. haha!Let's see, I live in West Hollywood with my brother. I've been here for the last 2 1/2 years, and in L.A. for a little over 5 years. It's been a fun ride and I definitley feel like I've grown roots here. Of course, that really has to do with the amazing friends I've been lucky enough to meet since I've been here. I can't imagine where my life would be at without all of them. That's not to say that I don't miss little Sacramtomato and all of my family and friends up there. I wish I could squeeze out the distance between the two cities so I can have the best of both worlds. But until I come up with a plan for that, L.A. is where I'm at (along with high gas bills and mucho miles on my car).As with so many of us, I am taking the steps to live out my dreams of making a living as a successful working actress. I'll be honest and say that it's taken a while, but persistence pays off with sweet successes. But I've been really fortunate to find something in the meanwhile to cover the bills so that I no longer have to live in the world of restaurant bar (as glamorous as it was to come home smelling like a alcohol & chinese food every night).I work with an online travel company. What's best is that I do this with all of my best friends and family. It's not too shabby when you get to go on a vacation to Costa Rica with all of your friends for free. Good times!Other than the career, I'm a pretty mellow chica. I love cooking for friends and having game nights. I cried when the West Wing ended, and I'm addicted to hiking at Wilacre Park. It's the best place in the world to set yourself in a perfect balance.I love to have good music playing, I dance on my couches when the music is really good! I love watching big movies on opening night- the energy of the crowd is intoxicating and just seems to make the movies that much better. I have to be careful about picking up a book to read, because when I like a book, that becomes my world. I've been known to drive and read at the same time. Probably not the smartest thing in the world to do! But I've become quite talented at it. And every now and then, it's fun to drive and blow bubbles out the window!Well, that's about it for me tonight. I'm sure that what I've written would be completely different were I to write this on any other night. But that's me for today! Enjoy!By the way, check out my audition for Kirsten for theinterior.tv (Yup, that's my brother reading lines and filming at the same time! Thanks, Jeric!!)
