I was born on January 4th 1972 in Luxembourg and started playing drums at the age of 11 or 12, if I remember well.Besides school and university studies (master in social work and sociology at the ULB), I studied drums and percussion at the Conservatory of Luxemburg and at the Future Music School(Germany).I studied with greats like Rainer Kind, Claus Hessler, Bruno Castellucci and more recently with Dom Famularo in New York.I had as well improvisation lessons with Fabrizio Cassol and Michel Massot.During postgraduate studies, I was involved in a research work on music therapy.I teach drums for more than 10 years at music school CAVEM in Luxemburg. I accept private students in Brussels and hold group percussion workshops for different organizers.
I'm a member of the Vic Firth Education Team and of the Hudson Music Teacher Integration Program (T:I:P).Performances and recordings with Sibel, Not Without, Daya, Arker, X-Rey, Fanfarrah, Baiafuegos and Nelly Olleson.Agner Sticks (signature stick) and Sabian Cymbals endorser.I translated the drum set methods "DRUMS EASY" by TOM Hapke in French.Hobbies: Sailing, sports in general and do-it-yourself.
