Hi, my name is José Valentín. I'm a full-time music teacher and musician. I play the guitar, bass guitar and keyboard. I'm involved in 3 music projects: Union Jacket, Audiofilia and Globulo H...Union Jacket is an online studio collaboration between three puertoricans (Alex O. Borges, Jaime David Vázquez and myself) and Dave Meredith from England. Dave is in charge of all the programming and keyboards, Alex is the lead vocalist and lyricist, Jaime does the bass tracks and I do all the guitar tracks, some bass tracks and backing vocals. Alex Borges will be releasing a solo project mostly in spanish including some tracks from the Union Jacket project very soon (listen to "A Pura Velocidad" here in my space). I'm going to be playing guitar and doing backing vocals live. Stay tuned for upcoming gigs...Audiofilia is an alternative rock project of David Ramos, singer of the band Skapulario. On the album (ALTEREGO) I recorded acoustic guitar tracks (check out "Algún Día") and live I play electric bass guitar and do backing vocals (I originally joined the band as guitarist and keyboardist until recently the bass player had to leave the band). We did the album release in Hard Rock Café in San Juan and opened for rock en español pioneers Aterciopelados in Orlando, Florida. The project is currently being presented to major labels. We're doing some presentations and promotion locally. It was recorded in the studio of David Ramos (Audiofilia, Skapulario). David produced the album, did some programming and backing vocals. Pedro Martínez (Jahil) recorded the drums and I did all the music, arrangements and recorded all the guitar parts, bass, keyboards and did backing vocals.
