Brief summary of my life:Born in cold December of the year 1977 in the north east of East-Germany.Grown up in Schwerin, Germany (77-87), East-Berlin, Germany (87-89) then moved to Vienna, Austria (89-99) and returned to Berlin in November 99.Since my parents both are actors it was pretty clear to me that I had to become one as well. I shot my first movie when I was 7. Followed by a couple of engagements as a speaker in several radio plays and finally I made my debut at the "Theater in der Drachengasse" in Vienna, Austria when I was 14.Everything went well. I played in different bands mostly as a singer (Punk, Rock, Hardcore, Cross Over), graduated from an arts highschool in 1996 and was accepted at a drama school, "Konservatorium der Stadt Wien".After one year I became slightly confused whether I really wanted to work as an actress. I decided to quit drama school and study law instead. After a couple of semesters confusion hit me again and I quit studies again.I found it much more challenging to earn my own money now ;) I was offered a job at an eventmarketing agency. A complete new world was opened to me: the music-industry. After a couple of very interesting months I was offered to become the assistant to the managing director of the holding the agency I worked for was part of.Now I could get even deeper into the materia. Label, publishing, musicproduction, eventproduction, eventmarketing, artist management, booking agency... All under one roof. But I felt like leaving the city. The offer to go to Velden am Wörthersee, Austria and work as head of security for a house club there was very attractive. So I did it.After a very long and funny summer I changed my mind again and wanted to return to my roots - acting. I was advised to move back to Berlin. Which I did. But I had to bitterly learn that nobody here was waiting for me and that contacts are your most valuable assets in this business line. But I had to make ends meet so I applied for a job at Nucleus musicproduction and recording studio. It was great fun and I learned a lot. Met a lot of interesting and inspiring people but felt like I had to "professionalize". I decided to study again.I went for business law. Now I am the proud owner of a degree and allowed to call myself "Dipl. Wirtschaftsjuristin (FH)".Right after I graduated from university I was offered a job at Universal Music Digital (former Mobile) as the assistant to the Managing Director which I accepted right away. I was lucky working with a great team and an incredible boss but it after 1,5 years I felt hungry for new challenges so we split. Now I am free and looking for new old ways. I wanna work as an actress again and do my part to reshape the music business according to the new era we're already in as an artist manager.Wish me luck!!! :)
