My name is Elizabeth Marie. Im 17 years old, and a junior at Lincoln High. Im 100% portuguese and am the biggest greenhorn you'll ever meet! Im pretty into my culture, I play clarinet in Sociadade Filarmonia Uniao Popular. Ive played for about 9 years now! I love going to Portugal, when im there all is well and I feel like ive left my worries behind! Im the biggest worry-wort youll ever meet. If you know me the names "liz the tripper" haha. I try to be this perfect person and always put others needs in front of mine. Making something of myself is something i WILL accomplish later on in life. I cant wait to prove all you people who doubt me wrong. Theres more to me than what people see. Im doing pretty good in school,better now than probably ive ever done. Something I dwell on is definately not taking my education seriously. BUT.....Things have changed and this just motivates me to do the best I can from now on. The things that keep me going in life are my family and friends. Theyre the best and im truely blessed to have such great people in my life. One person whom i miss dearly is my dad. "Im trying my best to make you proud, pai." I have the best mom in the world! Shes the most amazing person I know. Shes an immigrant to this country and a single mom and let me just tell you, for someone with just a high schhool diploma shes accomlished soo much! She raised two kids by herself, took care of my grandparents who were both uncapable of doing so, put food on the table, and payed the bills. Shes amazing. I know shes not the the first woman to do it but shes still soo amazing and am so proud to call her my mom. Shes definately my hero! I almost forgot to mention some of my hobbies! Im a dancer, totally LOVE it!
