Helvete started out seriously in 2004. Former guitarist and founder Martin Lindqvist moved back to his old hometown to get the band togheter, and teamed up with Henrik Wahlstedt (drums) and Oscar dAubigne (guitar). A couple of members and demos later, the band released Bloodsoaked Sweets (DVI 003), a five piece heroin shot injected to your veins. Mattias Sjogren (Vocals) joined the band just before the recording of that material. Helvete also made a video for the song Amphetamine, a song about alienation and inner conflicts.
Martin decided to leave the band summer 2005, and was replaced with former reggae guitarist Victor Lindstrom (guitar). Helvete toured Sweden in december 2005 with awesome ST HOOD from finland. In January 06 the band made a couple of shows with TURMOIL and MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD from US in Denmark and Sweden. In February they toured Finland.
9/11 2006 the full length album Black cat was released on Dead vibrations Industry, a ten song fuckin amazing record, that shows us both hardcore the way it used to be, and hardcore the way its never been. Helvete called in Kalle Torstensson (NINE, SMALLTOWN) to be Mr. Beatmachine, and Henrik Bjorkman (PAJ MALAJ) and former member Martin Lindqvist to do some guestvocals! The result is astonishing and definitely makes them one of the most promising upcoming hardcore bands today!
And now we're really doing it!
