The Lugers formed in April of 2006 when four good drinking buddies said "fuck it lets start a band." The singer and drummer have both played in local punk bands in the past. The guitarist and bassist have been playing punk/thrash together for a couple of years. We had a hard time coming up with a name for the band til Wood, the drummer, came up with the Lugers after playing the video game Medal of Honor. A Luger is a very old German made 9mm pistol.
