About Remedial Records
Remedial Records is a Chicago based label dedicated to enabling talented new musicians in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs to realize the potential of their music. At Remedial Records we're not about brand, or style, or genre. We believe success is a finely-tuned mix of talent and sweat. Our goal is to bring the Second City work ethic to a label accessible to musicians with limited resources. We want to help bands use their talent, desire and willingness to bootstrap their musical careers to help bring seemingly unreachable dreams to fruition against the odds of a musician's scant reserves. We do this through championing a spirit of cooperation, embodying the principles of The City that Works, and providing a financial, corporate, and marketing framework to make that happen.
