About Me

Raised in the crowned murder capital “New Orleans” Young Project made a way for himself. Playing in the court hallways listening to the now known rapper Soulja Slim he quickly found himself wanting to speak the truth. Young Project then started on his own voyage spitting the truth about life issues. Along with the stories he gives free comedy with the metaphors he uses. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina pushed him out the only city he knew. Young Project them moved to Birmingham, Alabama forcing him to meet new people and learn other areas. Being in Birmingham he has put out two mixtapes that are currently circulating from New Orleans to Atlanta. Now Young Project is currently working on an album called “The Louisiana Purchase” which will be filled with stories from an actual New Orleans survivor.
