I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, I'm Isaac. Umm, live in Idaho, and am a Christian. I was born in Denver, moved to Kansas City, then lived in Pinetop for a few years, before moving here.
I'm generally pretty easy going, and easy to get along with.
I'm usually shy, until I know you, and then I'm pretty outgoing. I'm pretty much awesome at life, and about the l33test person ever.
I enjoy listening to music, and enjoy a fairly large spectrum. I actually read books for fun ( I know, crazy).
I joke around alot, so it's good if you don't take a lot of what I say seriously.
Basically I'm going to U of I, and as of right now, my major is material sciences (a type of engineering where you make new materials, and also deal with nanotechnology). Although I think about changing my major all the time. Sometimes I just want to kind of drop out of college/become an English major. But then I come to my senses (no offense to English majors (especially Cathy and Dave)). College is pretty sweet. I spend my time rockin' out on Guitar Hero, hanging out with awesome friends, pulling l33t pranks, and just overall pwning at life. No I'm serious, I do.
Doing random things just for the heck of it is awesome. Kind of like when my roomate Aj and I decide to duel with whatever items we have on hand at the time. Coat hangers are ok, but they do tend to shatter. And Arizona cans get sharp. Very sharp.
Well, if you want to get to know me more, just message me, or im me at isaacn7 at hotmail dot com. I also have aim (isaacny7).I'm actually starting to im again (msn). But it's even cooler to meet people in real life than on myspace. So if you want to get to know me, just talk to me. I like to meet new people.
That's basically me, but if you're reading this, than you probably already knew most of that. Btw, I hate filling these sections out. I also hate spiders, sparkly/glittery myspace pages, and myspace pages with 9.3 x 10^5 videos on them.
Sometimes I keep a non-myspace blog here .

My Interests

Well, I like to play video games, guitar, sports, hanging out with friends (oh man, fun times), doing l33t stuff, the Rubik's cube, God, reading, and teh interwebs (especially textfiles.com, digg, pandora, wiki, and xkcd).

I'd like to meet:

Jesus, Babe Ruth, Pope John Paul II, Mr. Rogers, Michael Crichton, John F. Kennedy, George Washington, Linus Torvalds, people who are legit, and can be themselves around me. People willing to take risks, break societal norms, stand up for what they believe in, change the world.

Music:

Some favorite bands: P.O.D., Incubus, Bass Hunter, Chevelle, Smashing Pumpkins, The Slip, Pillar, 30 Seconds to Mars, Thousand-Foot Krutch, Tiesto, Switchfoot, Franz Ferdinand, Creed, Rammstein, Dc Talk, Coldplay, The Format, Five Iron Frenzy, UnderOath, Jack's Mannequin, Toby Mac, Evancescence, Tait, Linkin Park, Falling Up, Three Doors Down, MXPX, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Modern Day John, 12 Stones, Kutless, Skillet, Enya, Queen, Lenny Kravitz, Newsboys, Third day, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jars of Clay, Tree 63, LaRue, The Killers, U2, Audio Adrenaline, Augustine, Wednesday Afternoon, Unison, etc. A bit of a variety, depends on what my mood is.
Also a fan of classical (or at least what most people associate with that word). Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is pretty cool. Also am a fan of John William's works, Mozart, Beethoven, Vilvadi, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Taylor Hayward, Erik Satie, and Howard Shores is awesome too. And Yanni's the man. Yah, that's right, I said it.

Television:

A few shows I occasionally watch: Jeopardy, the Daily Show, and the Colbert Report. I hardly ever watch tv anymore, except I watch every episode of The Office. And I watch Heroes too, but it's not as good as teh Office. Lately I've been watching a bit o' Scrubs, and it's pretty sweet sometimes aussi. If The Magic Schoolbus were still on, I'd be watching it everyday.

Books:

The Bible, A Clockwork Orange, Blue Like Jazz, lord of the rings trilogy, the Hobbit, Q-SQUARED, Treasure Island, 1984, Harry Potter, the Phantom Tollbooth, the Chronicles of Narnia, Tony Hillerman books, Roald Dahl books, Ender's Game, Escape the Coming Night, A Voice in the Wind, An Echo in the Darkness, As Sure as the Dawn, Simple Genius, GEEKS, John Grisham books, Michael Crichton books (especially Timeline and State of Fear), Fight Club, Slaughterhouse-Five, and many others as well.
