About Me

JawanThis hot new Hip Hop, Pop, singer, writer, and actor is on her way to the top in the music scene. Jawan is the youngest of 10 siblings born in Flint, MI. She started out as a babe singing in a gospel group called Sisters. As a group they toured in plays called "Wake Up" starring Carl Payne II from the show "Martin" and "The Cosby Show", "I'll Meet You Somewhere Over The Rainbow" starring The Clark Sisters, and "Wine, Women and Neckbones Or God".Later Jawan branched off to do her own solo project. Jawan has worked with artists such as Ludacris, Jada Kiss, Too-Short, Jagged Edge, Jazzy Faye and has been featured on tour with Deborah Cox, Goodie Mob, Outkast the Lox and Kelly Price just to name a few. Her jazzy hip-hop and unique style is what has caught the eyes and ears of many. She is a dynamic writer and has written songs for the soundtrack "Malibu's Mosted Wanted" titled "Bla, Bla, Bla" and new music not released for Kelly Rowland featuring Little Wayne. Script writing for her hot video single "It's Jumpin" featuring Jada Kiss. Anyone can relate to her music, It talks about the joys, sorrows, happiness, and struggles that we all go through in life.Once the world gets a taste of Jawan it will yearn for more.
