About Me

How does one really describe oneself? Is it based on what you do? Is based on what you feel? Where you live? What you eat? Your favorite things? How? While I'm not sure the answer, I'll do my best. Here it goes... I am a young televsion producer/director (and I occasitionally write). I recently directed the pilot episode of "Hardly Working". I also recently co-produced/dircted segments covering the LA Film Festival (including red carpet for "The Devil Wears Prada" and interviews with Sally Kellerman and William Feidkin). I am still working on "Hardly Working", and I am teaming up with producer Joe Carrier on several other television projects. I can't really say I'm from one area of the country since so many places influenced who I am today. Originally, I am from New York. (Go Mets!) I have the New York sense of humor and loyalty, and I tend to swear a lot (despite trying not to). Then I moved to Texas and I ended up liking it there. I have the wild and sometimes confrontational spirit of a Texas cowboy. (Even though I try to pretend I don't.) I went to college in San Francisco where I ended up taking away a strage sense of art and culture. Now, here in L.A. I've developed a sense of wheeling and dealing that a love for all things flashy. So, when people ask where I'm from there is no real answer. I will do my best to log in and update all of this info, but really the best way to see what's going on with me is to check out http://www.1210productions.com/. (My blog reposted there with pictures, and you can see what I'm working on now.)I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

Television, Movies, DVDs, Hockey, Track & Field, College Football (Ohio State, Army, Texas, William & Mary), good books, the occastional video game, and working.

I'd like to meet:

This is difficult, because I live and work in the L.A. entertainment industy so I often end up meeting the people that I really want to eventually. It also depends on if they are living or dead. Living people I'd have to say: Thomas Schlamme, Aaron Sorkin, David E. Kelley, Jeffery Katzenberg, and Peter O'Toole. If we're talking about historical people I'd say: Walt Disney, David Lean, Gene Roddenbury, George Washington, Benedict Arnold, Alexandre Dumas, Chareles Dickens, and Sir Aurthur Cohnen Doyal. Then there's always fictional character like Sherlock Holmes, Edmund Dantes, Jean-Luc Picard, Adrian Monk, etc. That said, I assume this actually means who I'd like to meet on MySpace. So I'd say anyone from my past, anyone who is opart of my present, and anyone who wants to be part of my future.

Music:

Trance (Paul Van Dyk) and Jazz (Brain Culbertson & Dave Koz) EMME (the cool tunes you hear playing) and Paris Green (check them out under my friends). Occationally I'll listen to other stuff.
