I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Welcome to my network...I am a certified British Fashion Designer and Illustrator, with commercial design and retail experience. My forte is womenwear, but I am also proficient in menswear. I have extensive comprehension and practice with pattern cutting and garment construction, which makes me more than qualified to produce unique and innovative garments - I hope!My personal inspirations are drawn primarily from the fluid, diverse activities displayed by the youth cultures -specifically that of British Youth. This also coincides with my interest in a vast array of musical genres from different eras. However, this doesn't mean I am not inclined to add a touch of feminity and glamour to the proceedings.Watch this space for exciting announcements and additions to the portfolio in the near future.Best wishes, Lady T.LOVEMYFLASH CODE

My Interests

Well, stating the obvious: I love fashion, but from an edgy perspective - Street, Urban, Utilitarian as well as the feminine, glamorous and tailored (sometimes with a vintage twist). I don't suppose it would surprise many that I love labels like Allsaints, Ashish, Bench, Firetrap and Religion; however, it will come as a surprise to many that I ABSOLUTELY love - and would love to afford - Alexander McQueen, Amanda Wakely, Chloe, Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, vintage Chanel and vintage Dior...any offers?I am also an avid fan of Jane Austen and a keen member of the National Trust; mock at your peril!

I'd like to meet:

John Robert Parker Ravenscroft - a.k.a. John Peel (1939 - 2004): Without snobbery or arrogance he would cast his respected opinion over a variety of musical genres; for which I salute him and wish his legacy to be remembered (John Peel day 12th October 2008).However, there are four independent, unique and ambitious creative ladies I would love to work with in the future: Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, Lily Allen and Siobhan Donaghy. { View All Friends | View Blog | View Pics

Surprising article featured in the Guardian on C4 & E4 show Skins.
