About Me

.. Neil Jarman

Promote Your Page Too ..Neil started playing bass and guitar in 1995 with the band Splitfinger Fastball where he quickly learned the art of songwriting. As the time passed and the band changed members and their name to Nhumb 19, Neil continued to improve his skills in writing music. In 1997 he tackled a side project and played bass for a ska band called Mr Skatatoe Head where he continued improving his bass skills. When his term ended he focused all his efforts back on the band Nhumb 19. At this time members had changed again and Neil's role went from bass player to lead vocals and rythmn guitar. Neil then became the primary songwriter and he quickly expanded his cataloge of songs. In the year 2000 the band Nhumb 19 ended and Neil went back to his roots of bass playing and started performing for a country rock band named Jonas. After a year of playing shows and touring Neil took a break and worked on his first solo album "The Splitfinger Fastball Days" which was released in 2000. Once released Neil disappeared for a time. He then reappeared five years later when asked to help start a christian rock group named After the Storm. Neil had then ressurected his songwriting skills and quickly started writing for After the Storm. At this time he also started writing more secular songs for his second solo album due to be released this summer. Neil is currently playing still with After the Storm and also promoting his solo album. With the years of playing and different styles of music Neil's music brings a variety of sounds and styles to create warm, soothing, and inviting music for the world.
