Ciao! My name is Melissa but close friends and family call me Missy. Currently, I am going for my PhD in Marketing Management. My ethnic background is a mix of Italian, German, French, Dutch and Norweigan but I very much embrace my Italian heritage from their cooking to their culture!I am a loyal and passionate person. I consider my close friends my extended family, because, as a very good friend of mine told me once, "sometimes the family you choose is just as worthwhile as the family you were born into." Guess what? He was right. I wear my heart on my sleeve, so unfortunately, it gets broken very easily. I am extremely sensitive to people and events in the world around me. Any friend who is a true friend of mine knows that I never forget a kindness. This has been proven to my true freinds time and time again. I am fiercely protective of my close friends and family. I can be forgiving, but I do have a breaking point, so do not piss me off. As the saying goes, "Revenge is a dish best served cold." It may take some time, but once you piss me off, be careful because I can be evil. Personally, I have been married for 10 years (but with my husband, Rocco for 18 years) and I have two collies, Phoenix and Pharoah and a Great Dane, Mick. I do not have any children by circumstance, not choice. I am a teacher and I get new "kids" every 11 weeks. (I teach Marketing at the college level). I learned you do not have to give birth to be a "mother." I "mother" plenty of people: my friends, family, my students, my dogs.I also just recently started a tour company (specializing in custom designed European tours) with a very good friend of mine.As Seinfeld said, "Alright, that's it for me...you've been great...good night!"Ciao!
