How often do you stop to think about what you can do to help the efforts for world peace? Whether its language, race, history, beliefs or borders that influence your thoughts into thinking it isn’t possible, we believe that world peace can be achieved by joining participants world wide and supporting humanitarian causes through the global language of music and dance.To help raise awareness about the importance of achieving world peace we have created EARTHDANCE, the global festival for peace. Celebrating its 10 year anniversary and the first ever in Las Vegas, EARTHDANCE has grown to become the largest simultaneous dance music event in the world. Whether it is morning in the Australian rainforest, midnight in London or sunrise over the Himalayas the highlight of the EARTHDANCE event is when every event across the world plays the 4-minute Prayer for Peace track. The Prayer for Peace is a profound and powerful moment that unifies our intentions for world peace and healing and on Saturday September 16th, 2006, over 200 cities in 50 countries will once again unite as one global dance floor in support of global peace and humanitarian aims.
