Output

About Me

Output are a 4-piece contemporary rock band who formed in May 2006. Focussing mainly on original material with a few covers thrown out of the personal taste of the band, Output are now gigging and hope to gain their fanbase in the local area, playing live music events such as Festivals and 'Battle of the Bands'.Each member has worked previously in different projects before coming together to create the music they love and play live shows that are becoming reknowned in the area. The electrifying energy this band brings to the stage echoes live shows of such international acts as Muse, The Who and System of a Down. Lead vocalist Khali Ackford preaches his lyrics like a biblical prophet as the rest of the band play hard, break equipment and show you the meaning of the phrase "Rock-the-fuck-out". Live is what Output are all about, so if you want to know what it is really all about, go to an Output show and see them doing what they were made to do. You will not regret it.......................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ .................Output's reputation is growing, now having played alongside such international acts as The Animals and Seth Lakeman, headlining local festivals and are now gaining radio airtime on Plymouth Sound, and have been signed to a professional A&R company based in Los Angeles, USA. Output cannot wait to get out and Take the UK and the world by force, if the word Output means nothing to you now, It will very fucking soon!'The penultimate competitors of the night were Output, a lively young rock group from the Yelverton area. They had a direct, urgent sound, and good strong original material! They also found time to fit in a cover of Spiders by American-Armenian metal act System of a Down. No band seemed to be having more fun on the stage on the night than Output and their singer was a ball of yellow-shirted energy, who ended the performance with a playful mock dive into the crowd'-Okehampton Times, 17/08/06 A BRILLIANT NIGHT OF BATTLEBy Richard WevillMasthead Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Eight bands with very differing styles and members of very different ages took part in the first round of the annual competition. Organiser Richard Appleby said: 'Standards were very high.' First place in the competition went to Yelverton band OUTPUT, who had only decided to join the competition at the last minute when another group dropped out. Richard Appleby said: 'The minute they hit the stage they grabbed the audience and never let go. Thier frontman is clearly born to be a star, with the stage presence somewhere between somewhere between Roger Daltrey and Johnny Rotten.' Output will now go through to the Final of the competition in Simmon Park on Saturday, 11th August."-Okehampton Times, 26/07/07 ELECTRIC ATMOSPHERE DURING BATTLE OF THE BANDS
