He has worked alongside a number of producers and artist developers in London, as well as receiving bookings for a number of established London venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe.
On his arrival to The Netherlands, Rupert sought new band members to work alongside for his next project.
The guitarist Jan Schroeder, formally of German Rock/Pop band "Eat No Fish", was the first to join. Subsequently, two students of the Utrecht conservatory followed suite, Kees Dijkstra on bass and Simon Boing-Messing on drums.
After a number of months writing and recording the "If you only knew" EP was finished. The EP draws on Rupert's influences as a songwriter; artists such as Ray Lamontagne, John Mayer, The Kings of Convenience, and Scott Matthews.
The band and Rupert perform songs from both records, a mixture of mellow acoustic numbers and more upbeat pop, and they plan to play as many shows as possible over the coming years.
