The Danish death metal act Eciton was formed in 2000 under the name Indespair. After several line-up changes manly because of the way to early passing of bass player Søren Maibo and drummer Eskil S. Frantzen, Eciton have now found a stabile line-up.
The current line-up is:
Jesper Bøeck (Indespair): Vocals
Thomas B. (JEEL): Guitar
Bo Frandsen (Mindlock): Guitar
Peter Wolf Frandsen: Bass
Jesper Frost (Iniquity, Thorium): Drums
In 2005 Eciton released the highly rated debut album “Oppressed†on the French record label Adipocere records.
In 2006 they started the pre-recordings to their second album in Ear-plug studio, Denmark, and the final recordings took place during summer and fall 2007.
In 2008 a pre-mixed was made in Hertz studio, in Poland by Wojtek and Slawek Wieslawscy (Vader, Decapitated, and Hate). The final mix and mastering was done by Jacob Olsen in his studio in Denmark.
With the upcoming released of their second album “A Scent of Veracity“, Eciton has taken the fast catchy brutality to the limit and mixed it with more technical riffs.
“A Scent of Veracity“ will take you to the edge and make you beg for more...
