SORROW LOOKS BACK ~ WORRY LOOKS AROUND ~ FAITH LOOKS UP

About Me

My name is Chrissy. I'm originally from Orange County, New York, but now reside in Minnesota. 1st question I'm asked by EVERYONE is, "are you from the same Town as Orange County Choppers?" Answer is yes. Their shop was at the end of our driveway which made it difficult to get by at times because of the fans. Family is very important to me & Family Values. Family Values, or should I say, "the lack thereof," in most households today is one of my MAJOR pet peeves. I'm a "put-everyone-else-1st" kinda person. I'm not a "people pleaser." There is a difference. It comes natural. It's just "me." I just don't like to see people hurting so I try & help in every way that I possiby can. People I tend to stay away from are instigators of any kind, liers, & gossipers. Depending on the person, subject, and/or situation, I tend to speak my mind constructively cuz I'm pretty much an honest person (I'm not perfect!), or I just "Zip-The-Lip." I like to surround myself with people that make me laugh & who have a sense of humor even if it is dry lol. My PASSION/1st Interest is Music. 2nd is NASCAR & then Muscle Cars (primarily '70/'71 Chevelle SS's). I like the new customized cars as well. I like the beach, swimming, boating, fresh water & deep sea fishing, goin' to concerts, dancing, winter x games, figure skating, crafts, & gardening. I always feel the "Need-for-Speed." Dale Earnhardt, who's no longer with us "IS" and will always be my favorite driver. He has been since the 80's. When he passed, a part of me went with him. Races just aren't the same that's for sure. I like all the drivers who provide us the sport we love. There's only 1 driver that annoys me & it's not Jeff Gordon. I'll leave that up to you to find out who it is. :) If there's anything you'd like to ask that I haven't mentioned, please do so.

Music:

My #1 passion is music. I'll listen to anything, but rap-crap & hip-hop. I love music with a lot of lead guitar. Some of my favs are Journey w/Steve Perry, Van Halen, Creed, Whitesnake, Godsmack, Disturbed, Papa Roach, Def Leppard, Buckcherry, Candlebox, Shinedown, 3 Days Grace, Default, Breaking Benjamin, Bon Jovi, Audioslave, 3 Doors Down, Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, Nickelback, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Fuel, Trapt, Velvet Revolver, STP, Bush, Live, Edwin McCain, Scorpions, ZZ Top, Heart, Queen, Rush, Starship, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Outlaws, Skynard, Bad Company, Black Sabbath, Zepplan, Deep Purple, Grand Funk, The Who, Rick Derringer, Edgar Winter, Keith Urban, Garth, Travis Tritt, Celine Dion, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Steven Curtis Chapman, Yanni

Movies:

Anything as long as it's not horror/bloody flicks. Really like comedies, sappy love stories, dramas, westerns (i.e. Lonesome Dove, all Clint Eastwood movies).

Television:

Speed Channel, ESPN, Whose Line is it Anyway, Comedy Channel, Discovery, TLC, Food Network. Not into daytime soaps. Don't watch the news. Too depressing. I read the headlines on the internet or read the local newspaper.

Books:

Usually non-fiction (i.e. biographies, self-help books), magazines, & my computer even though it's not a book. But, I do a lot of reading/research on the computer. Don't care much for fiction.

Heroes:

My Mom and Dad. They gave me & my 2 brothers so much Love and instilled those important Family Values. Mom passed in 2002 & Dad in 2005. Knowing they're together and in a much better place, gives me piece of mind. I miss them immensley.
