As you can see, I have a 70 Chevy Nova SS - she's my baby.I picked her up around the same time as my wife. March 17, 1995 - I know this because it happens to be the same day I blew out a disk in my back. I have torn that car apart and put it back together a million times. I just dropped a fresh 383 stroker in it built by the man, John Adams. It has a 4-speed muncie, fun ass inline shifter, 12 bolt rear, disc brakes, bucket seats, line lock, and some old school frame rails from its glory years at the strip.It was in primer the first 5 years or so but my good friend Jeff Booth painted it silver for me 6 or 7 years ago. I have driven this girl 100 miles a day down the tollway 2 summers straight and only broke a fan blade one day. I will take her anywhere at any distance in any conditions - shit, I might cruise her down to Memphis next. So you see I love my Nova and will never be the guy who wished he kept his hot rod. Let me say I love my pets, they are my children. My current children are 2 dogs: Chevy, an 8 year old German shepherd and Molly, a 9 year old boxer shar-pei mix. Next are my 5 cats: the old man of the house is Tiger, about 16 years old...then we have Crooked Tail, Baby, Mags, and Carly. Also, I have Rabbit the rabbit, Homer the cockatiel, Slick the snake, Bud the box turtle, 2 red eared sliders, 1 painted and Softy the soft shell. I also love fish.

Well, I love all kinds of music. I dig going to concerts and meeting new people. I really like hanging with the people who make music, which is why I love Memphis - home of the Blues, birthplace of rock and roll. I've met some great bands and people down there. One of my passions is record albums, the real deal - my turntable has so many miles you have to work it manually - I'm not kidding. I can't even bring myself to can shitty albums they just end up in a box downstairs but the others are set up in my garage. Best place I ever had them. My garage is the place... spin some albums with the turtles, wrenching the nova next to the fireplace - it don't get much better than that. The Tru Cuntry Bassturds are a killer band and some nice ass dudes. Can't wait to party with the Bassturds again. Slick Sid is the shit...and now for words from Slick Sid...My homie Scott and the good Lady Strange appear to be Bassturds right down to they veins rode all the way ta Memphis in the pourin ass rain then didn't complain and rocked at the show they spent our whole set jumpin round the dance flo so to them here we go ima raise up a toast when the Bassturds are famous from east to west coast I'll remember the old times and fire up the pot in the back of the limo wit my homie big Scott!!!be easy brutha see ya soon I can't say enough about how kick ass the MOFOS are. When they say good time party band they mean it, they couldn't have been any nicer to me and my wife when we came to Memphis the first time. I could go on but I will just say that Taco and Da Mofos kick ass and I look forward to partying with them many more times.
