BELOW/ R.I.P. Chad "Pimp C" Butler.

What up WORLD?! My name is STEVE BELOW. Those in the music world call me BELOW. No, not BeeLow!!! I'm not that nigga! BELOW...thats my real government name!! This is the introduction to my re-introduction.I am a producer. I've worked on allot of albums with allot of different acts. All of them are special to me, but the most special one is the one that I worked on most recently. That project is called "UNDERGROUND KINGZ." The last original studio album of U.G.K. One of the most influential groups in the world. THE most influential rap group IN the South.The two tracks that I produced on the album was "Swishas and Dosha," and "Like That (remix). As I am thankful for my blessings, I deeply regret the lost of my friend, Pimp C. Pimp C was not only a musical comrad of mine, but he was also my friend. I call him my friend, because a friend will fuck with you when nobody else will. That's exactly what PIMP did for me.Just weeks prior to his death, I considered retiring from producing. Upon the occurance of Chad "Pimp C" Butler's untimely, confusing, and menacing death; I am officially out of retirement. Pimp would want me to carry on, and that's what I will do.The music that you are about to hear from me is about to be some serious, serious shit. If your beats take 15 minutes to make, then you will get 15 minutes of fame. Here one year, and the next year, no one remembers your name.With that being said, I will digress for now. Chad planted some seeds for me before he left. Now it is up to me to make sure that they grow. Through faith in myself and faith in how it would have been if my boy was still here, I will represent myself, the South, and the Musical Community as a whole, with the utmost respect and the best intentions at heart.
