MUSIC AND ME.....
I love music! I've been in every aspect there is you can think about music. From performing, production to sales & marketing I did it all. It's a passion that I can't get rid off. I told my wife Karin and my daughters, when I pass away, make sure I have a microphone inside my coffin. I told them I'll serenade them in my "after-life" he he he :).
VEGAS AND ME.....
I've been in Las Vegas for two years now.I spent my first year performing as a lead singer at the strip with a band called IN10CT (intensity). After winning a 250,000 dollar contract to perform through the whole Coast Casino chain, and having a day gig in the medical field, I got to realized the true meaning of the word "OVER WORKED". So, I have to slow down in performing for awhile and reinvented myself as a business owner again.
DEFTAL AND ME.....
I created a company called Definitive Talents. I love dealing with people. Knowing that I am in the entertainment capital of the world, I started networking with Bands, Disc Jockeys, Models, and any kind of artists that I meet. I also started asking questions to entertainment directors, event coordinators, corporate party planners, A&R, show producers, Marketing VP's on what kind of act they are looking for. Thus, I supply only the demand in this town ... in terms of entertainment, that is.
SOME SUCCESS STORIES IN VEGAS.......
To date, I have clients in Mandalay Bay, MGM, Treasure Island, Venetian, South Coast, Sun Coast Casino, and many more. My artists had performed with OR in front of George Clooney, Aretha Franklin, Gary Valenciano, Lani Misalucha, Apo Hiking Society, KRS-1, Apl.De.Ap, to name a few.
DEFTAL DJ TEAM.....
The special project that is near to my heart is the elite DJ Team called "Deftal Music Group". They are great people who embrace the turn table upon sleeping. It is a well organize group. Again, Music is the special bond that put us together.
MY FUTURE IN LAS VEGAS.....
My next venture is to produce shows (stage & television). I wish to apply everything that I've learned in the entertainment industry on the production end.
MY ROOTS.....
I embrace my culture and never in my life denied who I am. Yes! I'm a very proud Filipino. Panoy na Pinoy ako. I wish to speak my native tongue "Tagalog" as much as I can. I grew up in the Phillippines until I was sixteen and moved to Illinois. There, I spent 20 years of my life. Finished college, established my career, met my beautiful wife, had kids while performing at the same time.
WHEN YOU SEE ME, I'LL SAY....
Life is good. Once in a while, you'll catch me with a Lite Beer in my hand or a glass of Tangueray and Tonic (TNT). But you'll always see me having a good time even without it:)
