Bad Karma are a Boston, MA based power trio, launched in 1985, featuring Alec Dowie on vocals and lead guitar, Dana Guiod on bass guitar, and Stuart Dowie, also of CBS/Epic recording artists Meliah Rage, on drums. Many longtime followers of the band have always been amazed by Alec Dowie's ability to play guitar with one hand, the result of a motorcycle accident that rendered his right arm paralyzed. The band has played the club circuit in Boston and surrounding areas for many years, in addition to continually writing and rehearsing new material. They have a large and dedicated local fan base, but seek to broaden their exposure nationwide.
